  • Reply Shane Skyrunner February 9, 2019 at 1:33 pm

If you think Family Guy is funnier than The Simpsons then you've never seen the earlier seasons of The Simpsons. Family Guy can't even begin to come close to that level of comedic genius.

  • Reply Angela Lenfest February 9, 2019 at 3:31 pm

My husband and I still watch Survivor as "appointment television". We got a TV antenna just so we could watch it week-to-week. I think that means we're officially old. Haha

  • Reply Jacob Broering February 9, 2019 at 5:16 pm

That moment when you gotta look at the screen to see what Rhett is talking about his bracelets. Lolol we turn it on and just listen. Bite me, link!

Enjoyed how you mention wether it holds the test of time and if you and your family’s enjoy it. I would like to hear what Rhett has to say about seeing The dukes of hazard filming area.

Great lists, The Office is my all time favorite. I am the same age as you guys so do you remember Pinwheel?
It was to Nickelodeon what Sesame Street was to PBS. It was several hours long and made up of a running story line with a puppet and people show intermixed with these short cartoons from all over the world. Some were super weird and often without dialogue or dubbed into English. That is definitely my most influential show. Just hearing the theme puts me back at my grandpa’s house ( we didn’t have cable) . Find some clips on YouTube. It was AMAZING 😉

I am 19 years old, and I am so happy that I have seen almost every show they said. I love their choices and how they dived into their past. I am going to be honest though, I was REALLY hoping they would say FRIENDS as one of their shows, because it has had a major impact on my life. However, I do love their #1. Seinfeld is a great show!!!

  • Reply miss rose February 12, 2019 at 9:54 pm

The Simpsons is soooo much better than Family Guy, Rhett! What the heck? I grew up on The Simpsons, many memories of sitting with my family every Sunday night at 8 to watch the new episode. South Park and Futurama are two other amazing adult cartoons that are a big part of my life. I also never got into Seinfeld. shrug Overall I don't watch too many TV shows so it's hard to to come up with a list of 'most influential.' I just have a list of favorite TV shows. Friends is on that list too. 🙂

  • Reply Annly P February 13, 2019 at 1:17 am

The thing about Survivor is that it's just so repetitive after 36 or so seasons. And they're ALWAYS in Fiji. Like, they need to go back to Guatemala and other places, like they did in the early seasons. Like I love it near the end of the seasons, because it's pretty interesting to try to figure out what's going down at the end, and make judgements based on what we've seen on the very last episode haha

  • Reply Komal Salve February 13, 2019 at 5:02 am

YESS Seinfeld! That's the only show from their list that I watched. TWICE! Soon thrice! And I only watched it last year. I'm in my early 20s and I love it! Don't rely on the opinions of the extra judgemental kids from the React channel. Still holds up!

"That 70's Show" came out at perfect time for me and cast was my age and I loved the 70's music and vibe, I Love(d) "Dazed And Confused" Movie too which it reminded me of a little and "That 70's Show" was Awesome up until Topher Grace tried to go Hollywood, I also like/love a bunch of the Shows Rhett and Link mentioned too

I used to sneak downstairs after my mother went to bed and watch Saturday Night Live on a tiny black and white tv that was in the kitchen when I was in high school. Then try to remember the funny parts to repeat to my friends on Monday at school. I had a huge crush on GE Smith who played guitar in the SNL band…

Worst episode of ear biscuits ever and has solidified my dislike of Link. Rhett is the funnier and smarter and is the star. I would hope that Link is grateful that Rhett keeps him around because Rhett could have a amazing solo career and could actually be a big star with comedy specials and movie/tv rolls. Just my opinion.
To Link be grateful that Rhett keeps you around because you are not that funny or smart.

    Top 6 shows for me
The Blacklist been watching since season 1 EP 2. Was thinking to quit after they killed my favorite character season 5 Tom in the middle of winter break of 2017.
AGT recently started it with my mom
    Brooklyn Nine Nine
Legion season 3 is their final season. This show doesn't get a lot of views cause its hard to understand it being it based on comics.
Manifest don't know why I like it.
New Amsterdam cause of actor who played Tom Keen I really like it but my mom doesn't like the actor or what this show is about. Its a medical drama show.

I loved SNL when it had Will Farrell, Mike Meyers, Dana Carvey, Adam Sandler, Norm McDonald, Chris Rock, Chris Farley (you’re gonna end up living in a VAN…down by the RIVER!!). My pre-teen and teen years were so depressing, comedy on TV was my saving grace. Does anyone remember the series that would come on Sunday nights, it was called Sunday Comics? There were various comedians who would perform, maybe 3-4 each episode. I loved that show.
Gaaaah, I remember Wonder Years. And Doogie Howser, M.D.!
