Hey guys, happy holidays! My name is Diana and welcome to the December episode of InnoGames TV. This month we have a special present for you,
a bunch of news. So let’s go to the overview. We start the show off with Elvenar
introducing something new, their Winter event. Next, we go over to Forge of Empires,
which brings back an old favorite. Afterwards we go to Grepolis,
which surprises us with game updates. Next, we go to Tribal Wars 2
which shows us their forum calendar. Last but not least, we end the show with
Tribal Wars and their new event, Battle of the Tower. Winter is coming! Even in Elvenar. So, let’s go
to Rike and Timon to see what that’s about. Hello Elvenar players, this is
Rike and Timon from the Elvenar team. Uuurgh! It’s getting chilly outside,
at least here in Germany… and now also in Elvenar. Wait, last time I checked it was Summer
in Elvenar… like always. What happened? Elvenar is being invaded by the Frost King,
and he will show you a face of Elvenar you’ve never seen before. Wow, let me grab a scarf. See, chilly! And here’s the main reason for that.
The Frost King! He doesn’t look like Santa Claus at all. Yes, but he still brings the presents. Hmm… did he steal them from Santa? No, he ate Santa, of course…. Timon, come on!
Have you checked for icicles in your town? Icicles? OH! Yes, I see one.
This is a bit like the neighborhood treasures right? Absolutely, but with a twist.
They only appear in your own city and they appear quite often. Sometimes even several times per hour.
You should always keep an eye open for them. Ahh! And that way I receive more of these
Snow Flakes I need to open the presents, right? Smart boy! So this time you don’t rely on quests only.
By the way, there are tons of quests. Like more than 100. I don’t have to solve them all, do I? Well, do you want all these nice buildings?
But you also have plenty of time, the event will last for about a month. So everyone will certainly win a lot of stuff. Jo, is denn heut scho Weihnachten? WHAT?! German humor. You don’t have to understand that, really.
And that’s it for today, folks. The Winter Event will start in early December.
I wish you a very successful treasure hunt and Merry Christmas. Until next year, keep on playing! Want to know what’s a really good present?
A bunch of buildings in Forge of Empires! So let’s go to Thi and Kai,
who tell us how to get them. *singing* Oh Santa? My, you’ve lost weight! Is that your list of who’s been naughty and nice? No, you silly reindeer! This is my list of improvements
we have planned for Forge of Empires next year. What are you doing there? Oh, I’m just peeking at all
the presents in this advent calendar. And I love opening presents! It’s just like the Winter Event in Forge of Empires! Well actually, you’re not supposed
to open the whole calendar all at once, but you can do that in the
Forge of Empires Winter Event! The winter season is here and that means
Frosty is back with the Winter Event! Frosty will have some tasks for you
and when you complete them, he’ll give you rewards, including
two new winter avatars and stars. You’ll also get stars every day from your Town Hall. Use these stars to open presents. Ooooo, presents! That’s right! In the Winter Event window, you’ll see 18 presents. Every day the set of presents will change and every day there will be a daily
special reward hidden in the presents. If you are not able to find the daily special, you still have a chance
to get it for diamonds the next day! This year, there will be two new winter buildings: Santa’s Workshop, which is a production building
that has different production options, and the Gift Tower decoration! Don’t forget about the special tiles! There are three special tiles hidden among the presents. One will hide and reshuffle all presents, another will reveal two presents and the third special tile will give you a double payout
on the next present you open, even if it’s a building! Gee, I hope I can find these special tiles! You know what, Santa? It would be really great if it snowed in
your city during the Winter Event. You’re in luck!
There will be snow on both browser and mobile! Every time you finish one of Frosty’s quests
or open a present, snow will start falling in your city! The Winter Event sounds amazing! We’re going to have so much fun opening
presents, and we hope you will too! Let us know what you think about the
Winter Event in the forums or if you have any questions. We and the Forge of Empires team wish you
a wonderful winter season and a very happy new year! Forge of Empires is not the only one with presents. Grepolis also has some surprises for us.
So, let’s go to Nils who shows us what they are. Hey guys, I’m Nils, Game Designer of Grepolis and today we have some special things for you. First of all the Winter event has already started. And now we are going to have more surprises for you. First of all, there’s six new heroes
which we are going to present to you today. And the other thing is a small
addition to the combat reports. So now we have six new heroes,
three of Heroes of War and three of Wisdom. The first one is Deimos, the Hero of War. He increases your offensive values
when attacking with him. The second one is Pelops. He increases the offensive and defensive powers
of hoplites and chariots in your army. The third one is Themistokles, he’s increasing
the offensive and defensive values of envoys and horsemen. Next come the Heroes of Wisdom. As you already know,
we have Terylea which increases the value of silver you gain in your city.
So that’s why we thought of two more heroes which do the counterpart for the other resources. The first one is Rekonos, he increases your
stone production in the city you choose. The second one is Ylestres, she is going
to increase the amount of wood you will produce in your city. The last one of those heroes is Pariphaistes,
he decreases the construction time for your naval units. Now let’s see the changes to the Combat Reports. From now on we will always display the number of
battle points you receive, no matter if you won or lost the fight. Some of you might say, “Oh, why did you do that?” But, as experienced players already knew,
you could go to the wall in your city, check out the killed units as an attacker before a fight and after a fight,
and by this calculate the battle points yourself. So, this is why we decided to change this and show it
to all players. Like here in this combat report for example. So, that’s it. I hope you enjoy what you have just seen. Have nice holidays, a happy new
year, and see you next year. Did you guys buy an advent calendar yet? Well, don’t worry if you didn’t,
because Tribal Wars 2 has one in their forums. Let’s go to Gordon who talks to us more about that. Welcome Tribal warriors, winter is coming
and with it some awesome winter events! My name is Gordon, I’m the Product Manager for Tribal Wars 2
and today I’d like to make a special announcement. Our community members have been working really hard in the
support team and they’ve created a special event, just for you! So, on your forum from the 1st of December
to the 25th, you can win some great prizes. Why don’t we check out the feature. To fully enjoy this calendar, we recommend to always
use the Chrome browser. Now that that small disclaimer is out of the way, let’s get to it. So, first of all you
have to log into the forum, which is normally in the top right. Your name and login should be the same as your in-game credentials.
Secondly, open the advent calendar event. It should be in the Announcement or Event section,
depending on the forum that you are in. Thirdly, open the current door, you’ll be faced
with a riddle or some kind of small puzzle. Once you have the answer, insert that answer
in the appropriate forum section. It’s easy as pie. Now with a little luck you can receive great prizes. A bit thanks again to our support team and our
Community Managers. Especially I’d like to thank Alma98 and also Camelot for their tremendous work with this feature.
To all our players – good luck on the draw! We hope everyone has some great holidays
and we’ll see you guys in the new year. Now let’s go to my colleague Andreas
who’s super excited about a new event. Tribal Wars’ Battle of the Tower. Hello everybody, today I’d like to present
our brand new event, the Battle of the Tower. This event you are tasked to capture and hold
strategic territory in the icy north. Let’s have a look. At the start of the event you are assigned to one of three factions:
The Order of the Tusks, the Order of the Tree or the Order of the Wave.
Your duty is to capture and hold as much territory as possible. For this, you have regiments at your disposal which you can use to attack sectors
and conquer them for your faction. The sector is conquered
once the defense value reaches 0. Now that you control the sector, you can also decide
to use the regiment to bolster the defenses and increase the defense value,
making it harder for the other two factions to conquer it. After twenty-four hours, when the round is over,
the sectors will be reset and the battle starts again. After each round, glory will be rewarded
which can be redeemed in the event shop for great rewards. There are three ways to gain glory:
Through holding sectors until the round ends, doing quests and through your
position on the leader boards. The glory you gain for sectors depends on
the type of sector, with the central tower giving the most. The sectors with the highest rewards will also be the hardest
to conquer and hold. So you have to take a good look at the map to choose wisely
where your regiments are most needed. Going for the least valuable sectors instead
might sometimes be the better choice. We hope you enjoy our new event
and wish you good luck on the battles ahead. Please do share your feedback in the comments
on our forums and on Social Media. Until next time. So that was it for the December episode of InnoGames TV.
